A Final Bow in Red: Moulin Rouge! at Gotham Hall
Seasons A Floral Design Studio created the floral arrangements for the Moulin Rouge! The Musical closing party at Gotham Hall in New York City. Red roses, sweeping red feathers and gold-toned vessels brought the production’s cabaret spirit into the ballroom. The celebration marked the close of its Broadway run, which ended at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on August 30, 2026, after more than seven years.

Red at the scale of the room
Tall arrangements paired dense red roses with broad fans of feathers on slender gold-toned stands. Repeated across the ballroom, their silhouettes carried the color between tables, while the feathers’ fine texture contrasted with the gathered petals below.
Low rose arrangements brought that same red down beside the candlelight. The two heights allowed the flowers to register across Gotham Hall without losing the smaller details seen from a seat at the table.

In the wood-paneled room, the lower arrangements took on a different character. Away from the ballroom’s saturated lighting, the shapes of the roses and deeper burgundy tones became more visible. The palette stayed consistent, while the scale and setting changed—from the sweep of feathers across the hall to flowers close enough to take in petal by petal.
