Flower Care
To keep your flowers and plants looking their best, we recommend following the care guidelines below.
Fresh Floral Arrangements
Keep your arrangement away from direct sunlight, heat, and drafts. Check the water level daily and add fresh water as needed. Removing fading blooms will also help keep the arrangement looking fresh. Fresh flowers are perishable, and vase life will vary depending on the varieties used and the environment in which they are placed.
Orchid Plants
Orchids prefer bright, indirect light and should be kept away from direct sun and hot or cold drafts. Be careful not to overwater, as orchids are more often damaged by too much water than too little. Water sparingly only when the growing medium feels dry, and never allow the plant to sit in standing water.
Terrariums
Terrariums do best in bright, indirect light and should be kept out of direct sun, which can cause overheating. Water very sparingly, as terrariums typically need far less water than most plants. The soil should be allowed to dry slightly before adding more water. Be especially careful not to overwater, as excess moisture can damage the planting.
